Hand forged mushroom/toadstool, made by Chris The Smith, a UK blacksmith. I hand forge these mushrooms in my forge in Solihull, Warwickshire. Each one is slightly different, sometimes the tops are smooth, sometimes they are ridged and sometimes they have spots on, they’re great fun to make. They look at home in a modern or traditional setting and make great gifts. They are made from steel, cleaned with a wire brush and coated in beeswax. The mushroom is about 8cm tall.
