The formed hem in conjunction with the AltRider cast stainless steel clamp ensures a secure fit and prevents the guards from ripping off as is possible with other designs. The cylinder head guards combined with the AltRider Reinforcement Bars give the OEM crash bars all the support they need giving you the best protection the OEM crash bar base can provide.
